New Linux Tutorial – Basic Shell Programming Reference Guide – PenguinTutor.com

I’ve added a new tutorial to the PenguinTutor.com Linux web site. I’ve been quite busy recently with taking my latest LPI exam etc so it’s the first new document to be added since August.

This tutorial is a “Basic Shell Programming Reference Guide”. It covers the basics of shell programming for someone who already understands some of the basic concepts of programming, but has not done any shell programming before. I hope to add some example scripts in another tutorial in the future, but it does give some ideas for anyone wanting to get involved in creating shell scripts.
