First Aider comes to aid of scalded baby
A story in the Tamworth Herald, shows just how important First Aid training can be. The story describes how a 13 week old baby was scalded by a hot drink and a member of the public came to the parents aid.
The mother is now trying to find the first aider that came to their aid “In my frightened state, I didn’t thank him or a dark haired lady who tried to calm me down and I would dearly like to speak to both of them to make amends for this, as on the worst day of my life they stepped up to help when others didn’t,”
