National Adoption Week 6th to 12th November 2006
This week is national adoption week, which has arrived (for better or worse) at a time when adoption is making the headlines.
This week is being used to raise awareness with open days, awareness evenings and similar events happening around the country. With approximately 5,000 children in the country awaiting adoption there is a genuine need for more families to adopt children.
