How well is your local NHS trust doing?
The latest results of the NHS annual health check have now been published online. You can look at the condition of your local NHS trust, and compare it with other areas.
Looking at my local services:
The Coventry and Warwickshire Ambulance NHS Trust rated as good for the quality of service, and fair for use of resources. The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust received the same. The Coventry Teaching Primary Care Trust, didn’t do quite so well, scoring good for quality of service, but weak for fair use of resources. This was due to the poor state of the finances of the primary care trust.
You can drill down into the report and get a bit more information. The questions that they asked patients didn’t really give you much of a feel about the hospitals though.
