Child friendly pub restaurant – Trading Post near Kettering
After visiting Wicksteed Park, Children’s theme park near Kettering we stopped for dinner at the Trading Post pub near junction 8 of the A14. We have stopped at the pub for a meal before, but it has been completely refurbished since our last visit.
The thing that made this pub stand out is that is very child friendly. As well as the usual high-chairs and baby changing facilities they also have an outdoor play-area and indoor toys and games. The toys are suitable for a wide age range from babies (stacking blocks) through educational games for toddlers (word games etc) to the likes of connect 4.
Food was good including a carvery and regular menu and kids eat free offer on Saturdays (check for details and to confirm if the offer is still on when visiting).
I’d certainly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
